Hi there,

First of all, a massive thank you for considering signing up to Raptors of London. The signup box below goes over the prices and what you get at each tier.

I just wanted to say a few words before that, because I know it can be difficult to trust an unknown site with your details. The tiers are managed through a plugin called ARMember and the payments currently go through Paypal. There is an option to add Stripe but that costs money so will have to wait a while.

ARMember is a very popular and trustworthy plugin, and you can read reviews on trustpilot and other sites. I know LitRPG stories commonly go through Patreon, but I wanted to do so much with this site, with the bonus content and so on, that Patreon was unworkable.

Also, as a reader, Patreon is a terrible site and I hate it. I’ve heard it’s worse for writers and I’m not sure how it can be worse, but I believe it anyway.

I think, perhaps, the future may see more writers doing as I have done. I can’t be the only one with some basic wordpress skills to build something like this.

Anyway, bottom-line, it is new, it is different, it is also just as trustworthy as patreon. I don’t personally see your financial details and all payments go through paypal.
